Mr. Rierson was most recently Managing Director and Co-Head of Financial Institutions Consulting at Situs where he built a bank consulting business on top of Situs core loan advisory capabilities. Previously, Mr. Rierson was with Regions Financial Corporation where he served as Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer of Regions Capital Markets, a division of Regions Bank, as well as Chief Executive Officer of Regions Securities LLC. Mr. Rierson also has experience with The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Wachovia Bank. He has expertise in all of the bank credit businesses (corporate & real estate), loan syndications, derivatives (interest rate, credit, & equity), fixed income & equity capital markets, and mezzanine & private equity funds. Responsible for the buildout of the operations group at Regions Capital Markets, Mr. Rierson oversaw all technology for the group as well as the implementation of several systems including ACBS, which successfully integrated data flows between Capital Markets and the overall loan system AFS. Mr. Rierson’s diverse commercial banking and capital markets background as well as his extensive banking network bring a new perspective to a full service consulting practice for financial institutions. Mr. Rierson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Music from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University and has previously been licensed in Series 7,24,27,63 &79.
Mr. Grubbs retired from Regions Financial Corp. in 2014 after spending almost two decades as the Executive Managing Director of Capital Markets. In this role he was responsible for the bank’s derivative, foreign exchange, loan syndication, permanent real estate finance, and financial strategies efforts. Based in Atlanta, he developed, positioned, and oversaw the marketing of those products across Regions’ franchise. Prior to joining Regions Mr. Grubbs spent over nine years with Wachovia Capital Markets where he developed and managed a variety of product areas, most notably interest-rate, equity, and credit derivatives, as well as foreign exchange and structured leasing. While at Wachovia he participated in and led a variety of credit & risk management committees, both internally and industry wide. Mr. Grubbs holds both a Bachelor of Accounting and a Masters in Finance from The University of Georgia.
John Daniels retired from Bank of America in the fall of 2016 and now lives with his wife in Charleston. He spent his entire career at Bank of America and its predecessor banks (NationsBank and NCNB) where he founded the Credit Products concept and organization. Mr. Daniels was with Bank of America for over 30 years in credit administration and assisted the bank in its journey from a North Carolina community bank to one of the largest global banks in the world today. He has extensive process and system expertise across both C&I and CRE for balance sheet lending and has managed thousands of underwriters across many different credit organizational formats. Mr. Daniels chaired the Bank of America New Products Committee for several years and he was also responsible for credit regulatory relationships with the Fed, OCC and FDIC. Mr. Daniels holds BA and MBA degrees from Loyola University.
Adrienne Drummond has most recently been engaged as a subject matter expert consultant for a bank installing the FIS commercial loan system. Prior to becoming a consultant Ms. Drummond was a Director at Regions Capital Markets where she managed operational teams and was responsible for multiple operational projects, systems installations and M&A initiatives. She also has experience at GE Capital where she was a global documentation process lead and had responsibility for credit process teams in North America and India. Ms. Drummond began her career at CIBC where she gained her first experience with FIS systems, spending almost 10 years in Credit Administration and Treasury. Ms. Drummond holds a BA in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University.
Stark Hayden was most recently a Senior Vice President managing the technology application development team for Corporate Banking at Regions Bank. Prior to this executive management role, he was responsible for all technology projects for the Regions Capital Markets, including derivatives (interest rates, commodities, foreign exchange, and credit), commercial real estate, and corporate finance. Mr. Hayden’s core strength is consulting with business and operations teams to analyze problems and develop pragmatic solutions using technology. He has designed and developed new software and applications, managed the technology integration for new business acquisitions, built data management reporting solutions, and introduced new innovative technologies across a banking franchise. Prior to Regions he was with CJC Technologies where he assisted in the development of the Closer application for bank Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Hayden holds a BBA degree in Management Information Sciences and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi
A seasoned risk executive with nearly 30 years of experience covering a wide variety of industries, companies, and products in the credit and lending space. Most recently, Mr. Bryant was Managing Director and Chief Credit Officer of Morgan Stanley Private Bank, N.A. In this role, Mr. Bryant was responsible for all aspects of identifying, underwriting, mitigating, monitoring, and managing credit risk for one of the largest wealth management focused banks in the U.S. Mr. Bryant was a voting member of various firm and bank level committees at Morgan Stanley and also served as the point person for all MSPBNA credit-related regulatory and audit matters. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Bryant was a Managing Director and Head of Global Commercial Real Estate Risk at Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Bryant also co-managed a specialty finance risk team during his tenure with Merrill Lynch covering the Global Asset Based Finance business. Mr. Bryant started his career at Bear Stearns & Co. followed by stints in financial institutions and counterparty credit at Sanwa Securities (USA) Co., L.P. and Westpac Banking Corp. Mr. Bryant earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers University.
