Mr. Kittrell is a Managing Director at Abelian Partners focused on credit risk management and capital markets. A seasoned bank executive with over four decades of experience, he has a broad working knowledge of consumer, residential, and commercial loan products, as well as capital markets debt products, derivative products, and bank regulations. Mr. Kittrell was most recently the Executive Risk Officer for IBERIABANK where he was responsible for Credit Risk Administration, as well as second-line risk management for capital markets, commercial leasing, and secondary market residential lending. His credit risk responsibilities included all analytics and reporting, loan policies, proprietary PD/LGD risk rating models, CRE stress testing, credit portfolio concentration management, and the Allowance for Credit Losses. He co-led the team responsible for developing and implementing the bank’s proprietary CECL loss and economic forecasting models in 2020 and chaired or served on various committees including, the Credit Policy Committee, ACL Committee, Credit Risk Committee, Model Risk Management Committee, Management Risk Committee, and ALCO. Prior to IBERIABANK, Mr. Kittrell spent two decades with Regions Bank and its predecessor institutions, where he held various sales and credit risk management executive roles.
Mr. Kittrell earned a Bachelor of Science degree from John Brown University and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has previously been licensed in Series 7, 63, and 79.
