Mr. Trainor is the former Chief Information Officer for Signature Bank. In the role for over 7 years, Mr. Trainor led the digital transformation of Signature Bank, including the commercial lending architecture, encompassing the purchase and implementation of a commercial loan system (ACBS), a loan origination system (nCino). He sponsored the implementation of the nCino Commercial Client Onboarding solution with integrations to Alloy and Middesk. He has worked closely with nCino on new product development and still sits on the nCino CIO Advisory Board. He spearheaded the data integration and analytics initiatives, including the implementation of Tableau and the implementation of a data warehouse. He was responsible for the creation of the data governance policies and frameworks. He was also a key contributor to numerous other digitization efforts at Signature, including the development of a blockchain based payments platform.
Prior to Signature, Mr. Trainor was in IT financial institutions consulting with Virtusa in the U.K. and ALaS (acquired by Virtusa in 2011) in the U.S. He began his career at Bankers Trust as a product manager working both in New York and London. Mr. Trainor holds a BA in Economics from the University of Albany, SUNY and an MBA from the London Business School.
