Chris retired from Regions Financial Corp. in 2014 and is now a Principal at Abelian Partners. At Regions he spent almost two decades as the Executive Managing Director of Capital Markets. In this role he was responsible for the bank’s derivatives, foreign exchange, loan syndication, permanent real estate finance, and financial strategies efforts. Based in Atlanta, he developed, positioned, and oversaw the marketing of those products across Regions’ franchise. Prior to joining Regions Chris spent over nine years with Wachovia Capital Markets where he developed and managed a variety of product areas, most notably interest-rate, equity, and credit derivatives, as well as foreign exchange and structured leasing. While at Wachovia he participated in and led a variety of credit & risk management committees, both internally and industry wide.
Chris holds both a Bachelor of Accounting and a Masters in Finance from The University of Georgia.
