Facebook employees stage virtual walkout

  • Some staff have taken issue with the company decision to allow Trump’s posts about social unrest to remain on the platform. Facebook says it refrains from fact-checking or removing politicians’ posts on the platform but will take down posts that glorify violence and spread misinformation.
  • Twitter, by contrast, has shielded the tweet with a notice saying it violates Twitter’s rules against encouraging violence.

Atlanta protests continue for 4th consecutive night

As protesters continued call for justice, police utilized tear gas ahead of 9 p.m. curfew.
