Scott Stoll

Scott Stoll retired as an EY partner in December 2018 after working over 36 years in their financial services practice.  He started his career with EY in the audit business line and eventually transitioned to the consulting business line where he was a founding member of EY’s risk management practice in the US.  Later in his career he led EY’s teams serving global financial services clients.  He worked in EY’s San Francisco, New York and Pittsburgh offices as well as Zurich, Switzerland and Melbourne, Australia.

Scott has served as the Audit Committee Chair of Farmers Group, Inc. and Farmers New World Life Insurance Company since May 2019.

From 2015 until 2020, Scott served on the Board of the National Bureau of Asian Research, a non-profit, non-partisan research institution dedicated to informing and strengthening policy in the Asia-Pacific.  He served as Treasurer of the Board, Chair of the Finance Committee, Chair of the Audit Committee and was a member of the Executive Committee.

Scott is a Certified Public Accountant holding an active license in New York and a retired license in California. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University (BGSU) and currently serves on the Leadership Council of the Schmidthorst College of Business at BGSU.  Scott was a member of the North American Asset Liability Management Association from 1999 until 2018.
